The day you become gluttonous, and pray to get "lucky", is the day you lose all of your money. Seems a little abnormal, but it appears to be accurate. It seems the only time I ever come away with money is when I do not worry about blowing it. I headed to the the casino last evening with twenty dollarsin my pocket. I couldn’t care less about blowing it, who cares about 20 dollars? So guess what happened? I ended up leaving with $120 in profit in just one hour!
Another time I headed to the casino with my buddy Jeff. I took with me one hundred dollars that I couldn’t bear to lose. I got hoggish, I got terrified, and I ended up betting too much and squandered it in 30 mins! The lesson is don’t ever bet anymore than you can afford to lose. If you do not worry about not winning, you have a greater chance of winning big!
How else can you improve your chances of succeeding at Roulette other than creating a budget? Never wager on individual numbers! Yes, they hit every once in a while, but they do not come up enough to ensure a constant profit. Only bet on 1:1 bets for example red, black, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets e.g. first dozen, second 12, third dozen, etc Wager on odds that pay relatively high.
With the basic facts reviewed, how else might we further increase our odds of succeeding at Roulette? By making probability into our friend, instead of our enemy. "You cannot win at Roulette", my buddy Ben would say to me. "It’s absolutely arbitrary because any number can come up". Yes, my friend Bob has a point, but at the same time, he is overlooking a significant aspect of the picture. I totally agree, black or red could come up thirty times in a row, but how often does that happen?
